When challenged to take a photo representative of myself without including my face, my first thought was to showcase my artwork in some way. My art is the most direct outlet through which I’ve expressed myself throughout my life, and is one of the most important aspects of who I am. For this blog post, I chose to photograph a graphite illustration I created depicting a still-life of objects that represent cherished memories from my childhood. To add more personal meaning to this image, these items also represent my relationship with my sister, who is one of the most important people in my life.
