My goal in fulfilling this prompt was to capture the beautiful fountain outside my local library. Unfortunately, I found that the water is turned off during the colder months, and the water left in the base of the fountain was green due to lack of maintenance. However, this green water still complemented the stonework of the fountain and the plants lining its border, so I photographed a scene displaying all three that I believe still portrays the balance and tranquility of the fountain—regardless of what state it’s in.
