Viewpoint
This week’s photo challenge was to shoot the photo from the viewpoint of a different person. I chose to take a photo of Kayla climbing on the monkey bars from the perspective of a child. I got really low to the ground and faced my camera up toward Kayla.
Film Noir
This week’s photo challenge was to tell a story using Film Noir. I took this photo of my friend while we were on a trip together. I changed the image to black and white to make it look more dramatic.
Work
This weeks photo challenge was to interpret work how ever it might be for you. I took a photo of my troop participating in a flag ceremony. I have learned through the years that being in Scouts is a lot of work but it pays off in the end. Getting Eagle is a very hard thing to do but you learn so much from it. There are 7 ranks scouts work their way through and kids start in 6th grade when they are 11-12 years old and get eagle when they are 16-17 years old. This is a long process that takes a lot of work.
Color Theory
This weeks photo challenge was to incorporate color theory in our photo. I took this photo of a pond and I thought it incorporated color theory pretty well. This is a monochromatic photo with the only color being shades of green.
New Year Light
This weeks photo challenge was to take a photo using long exposure. I took this photo of a camp fire, I really like how the fire looks in long exposure. I never see long exposure photos of fire and I thought that it would look cool. I hope in the new year to spend a lot of time outside enjoying nature.
The Elements
This weeks Challenge was to take an inspiration photo of an element in our world. I chose to take a photo of rain. I have a love/hate relationship with the rain, somedays I love it and others I just find it annoying. No matter how annoying I find it, I know that California desperately needs as much as we can get.
Rule of Odds
This weeks challenge was to take a photo of rule of odds in architecture. I took this photo a while back when Freestyle went to the SFMOMA. There are an odd about of skyscrapers in the photo. I do really like the photo I took and I had a good time at the SFMOMA.
Seasons
This weeks Challenge was to find inspiration in the seasons. I took this photo of these pretty colorful trees on my walk home from school the other day. I thought that all of the different colors looked really pretty. Fall and spring are my favorite seasons because of all the pretty colors.
Gratitude
This week’s photo challenge was to show gratitude. I took a photo of my and my neighbor’s dogs asleep. I am grateful for friendship and dogs. Both a great thing to have in life and make me happy.
Rule of Thirds Emotion
This week’s photo challenge is to take a photo that follows the rule of thirds that shows emotion. I took a photo of Cambria on Halloween. She is on the third and is quite happy to be celebrating Halloween.
