Color Without Color
This week’s photo challenge is to take a photo that shows a colorful story but does it in black and white. I took a photo of the pretty fall colors and it tells the story of the changing of colors in fall.
Who Inspires You
This week’s photo blog is to show someone who inspires you. Someone who inspires me is Hardy Jones. Unfortunately, Hardy passed away a few years ago so instead of taking a photo of him, I took a photo of his artwork. Hardy was an eternally happy person who contributed to our community in so many ways.
Fill the Frame
This week’s photo blog challenge was to fill the frame with one color. The first thing that came to my mind for this photo was a close-up of a lemon. It’s cool to see the pores of the lemon and the bright yellow is fun.
Friends and Family
This week’s photo blog challenge was friends and family. In my family, we always have the best conversations over food. This has transferred over to my friends. This photo was taken when a group of my friends all hung out and we had a super fun night. We had some really good conversations over this meal.
Habits
This week’s photo challenge was to show your habits, whether good or bad. I choose to show my procrastination habit through the dishes in my sink. I always procrastinate washing dishes because it is a chore I hate. My sink is deep so it was hard to get a good photo.
Facial Symmetry
This week’s photo challenge was facial symmetry. We had to take a portrait and make it symmetrical in Photoshop. I took a self-timer photo of myself to edit. This process was really interesting to do and I enjoyed it.
My Culture
This week’s photo challenge was to show the story about our culture. I am Scandinavian, mainly Norwegian. The books are Scandinavian recipe books that have been passed down throughout my family. The press in the middle is a griddle used to make Krumkake (kroom kaka), a Norwegian waffle cookie filled with whipped cream. This griddle was also passed down in my family.
Exit
This week’s photo challenge was to be inspired by the exit. In my photo, there is a path in the trees that seem to not ever stop. That is what it sometimes feels like to exit something, mainly a project. Some of my projects I get so focused on it’s hard to stop. I just get sucked down the path of creating.
Geometry
This weeks photo challenge was to se geometry in our photo. I went to the Pulgas Water Temple with my friends and I noticed the water was in the shape of a rectangle. The temple in the back is in the shape of a circle and the columns are circular as well.
Freedom
This weeks photo blog challenge was to tell a story of what freedom means to me. When I think of freedom I think of not being confined to and area or schedule. Going out in nature is where I feel the most free, there is not specific schedule I have to follow, i’m not confined to my room or at school. I can just be free.
