My previous self portrait from junior year was moody and dark, which at the time, represented the way I was feeling. This year, I wanted to focus on a brighter future, and so I took this picture of me and my cat. It’s colorful and happy, which is truly how I hope I will spend my college years. I’m going to miss my cat very dearly when I leave, and I’ve definitely been trying to take more pictures with him and spend more time with him to offset that.
