The documentary project required us to interview a person from our community or family and learn about who they are as a person and why they are important. I interviewed my dad. My article is about his work as an engineer and how he expresses love towards others, both his friends and family. This animation takes clips from my interview with my dad and compiles them into a short film.
Personal Projects- Visual Production
For this poster design project, I was inspired to create a flyer for one of my favorite bands, Half•Alive. The poster advertises their San Francisco show and the cost of tickets. I am most proud of the TV I incorporated into the design; it was featured in one of their recent music videos and I recolored it to make it match the color palette I chose. If I were to change this project, I would realign objects so that there wouldn’t be as much blank space at the top of the flyer. I definitely learned a lot about how to create a cohesive piece featuring many different colors and how to match varying fonts so they look unified.
