This photo was taken at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I chose to take a photo of the jellyfish because they are such detailed creatures. Many times, their colors are what are most intriguing about them, but this jellyfish specifically had a wide range of textures and shades that I believe stand out more in black and white, so that it can really stand out against its background.
