This photo was taken in Eugene, Oregon. I really loved this tree just looking at it normally, but then I discovered that you could actually walk behind the branches to an wide open space surrounded by branches with the trunk in the center. I looked up and saw the pattern above me, and realized that this is something similar to what birds and squirrels probably see when climbing the tree, which made it even more amazing.
