This image tells the story of a friend. in the summer going into 7th grade, this friend had to move from Los Altos to a suburb of Chicago, unsure of when he would move back, if at all. This image, through its gritty and dirty texture shows the friend leaving the light of his hometown and advancing into the darkness of a new community.
