The Narrative 2 unit in digital media allowed us to connect our English world building narratives to our digital media projects. The project at hand for me was the physical box art.

Artist Statement
The intention behind Earthfall was to provide the feeling of the world building story Earthfall, while creating a new and unique piece of art. The volcano and jungle aesthetic keep the feeling of the narrative, while providing an interesting metaphor for the story. The volcano represents the unstoppable force that is the coalition, and the small man standing before it represents the main character and how small they seem in proportion to the power of the coalition. The red color just looks cool and adds to the sinister feeling of the volcano and twisted vegetation.
