Frame within the Frame

This image depicts my dog Sammy sleeping. I moved the table and some surrounding items to create a close frame around Sammy. He is framed nicely by the books to the left and the wood bowl and TV remote to the right, giving a close fitting framing. The angle of the table also provides a …

Using Props

This image uses the prop of the chair to provide a lense over serene horizon of green hills and blue sky. The chair provides the image with an interesting addition, that if taken out, leaves the image feeling boring and uninspired, as the chair is what adds the mosaic aesthetic.

Creative Staged+ Depth of Field

This is an image depicting the needle of a record player, playing an album in a fun up-close angle. This image was influenced by my love for music and collection of vinyl albums of all my all time favorite records. (The album is Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city, its amazing go check it out)

Viewpoint

This image of my driveway depicts the viewpoint through the window of a dark upstairs room. Fill the Frame

This image depicts a wood beam. The singular color gives the image a focus on the immense details, such as the imperfection near the middle.

Facial Symmetry

This image depicts the symmetry of my face. The mage on the left shows the left side of my face reflected to both sides of my face, the middle image us the original picture, and the image on the right shows the right side of my face reflected on both sides.

Geometry

This image depicts the underside of the Santa Barbara Pier. The shot uses geometry to create a focal frame. The focus of the image is not what is inside the frame however, but the frame itself. The angular pier and the water lapping on one side adds a path for the eyes. The sprawling coastline …
