In this “faceless self-portrait” I decided to capture one of my favorite pastimes: reading. The hazy line-up of books seen in the background of the photo, is the collection of my favorite novels that I keep on the headboard of my bed. I wanted to created a meta feeling to the photo because it’s a photo of me taking a photo, placing the viewer and I both in the same moment of appreciating my fondness for my books and literature.
