The whole reason I switched electives at the end of last year was to make myself more available for acting projects, without having the threat of having to coordinate my own separate schedule with others, take care of my own equipment, and put together my own film. Thankfully, that mission has become a reality, as I’m currently working on three major projects: two films (one created by Freestyle students!) and a special in-person musical with some close friends. Today is the last day I spent on set, as I have to quarantine for the next few weeks for the safety of my fellow musical cast-mates. I love being back in the on-set atmosphere, getting to help slate and operate the camera when it’s needed. With the monotony of my own quarantine looming in the near future, it was nice to spend some time in the now helping my friends create a project.
