During the pandemic, my mobility has been pretty much limited to my neighborhood, or more specifically, my room. We revamped the entire layout back in April, swapping out my old bed for my sister’s loft and rearranging various other parts other room. It was pretty cool to have a new space that reflected my new sense of self, rather than the one I had from the last time I set up the layout in my room (maybe 8th grade if I had to guess). Even so, I’ve been living with this layout for almost a year now, and it’s started to get boring sitting at the same desk in front of the same window, sleeping in the same bed, and hanging out in the same beanbag chair. I needed to get another perspective (or viewpoint, if you will) to remind me of why I chose to set up my room this way, and the excitement I initially felt when I first started utilizing this layout. This photo has really helped me to appreciate my space and feel a bit more refreshed when I sit back down at my desk.
