When taking a picture for this prompt, I did not want to pose something for fear of portraying unnatural emotions or movement. I think a lot of the beauty of Renaissance art comes not only from the composition of the image but from the movement within the image itself. So, I decided to get my camera out when my little cousins were over to play. Though it appears that my cousin, Nicholas, is comforting his little sister, Kira, they were actually wrestling after knocking each other over on the trampoline. Enjoy this strange, chaotic Madonna and Child ;). I think the masks add a nice, topical aspect as well.
