    Symmetry Landscape

This week’s photo challenge was to capture something with symmetry within a landscape or view of the outside. I was lucky that my own backyard had symmetry in it as my mom designed it that way. As you can see the symmetry is centered by the fountain, making it the thing that catches your eye. As well, there is a common circular theme of symmetry as there is another ring around the fountain with the tiles as well as the rounded little shrubs on either side of the fountain and the spherical trimmed trees that fall behind the fountain on either side. Warmth

This image tells a lot of stories and holds a lot of memories. The sunset from my vacation house in Discovery Bay, California. This is my family’s house where we go wakeboarding, tubing, kayaking, jet skiing, and paddle boarding. I always have a bunch of friends comes up in the summer, and we always have a blast. This represents warmth to me because I always feel warm and comforted being there and never fail to have a bad time. As well, it always usually gets pretty hot there in the summer but I love it in the winter too!

    Mood

This picture was inspired by my mood as I had a pretty lazy Sunday. My one year old dog, Tucker, laying on my foot resembles my mood as he is sleepy while usually he is always running around. Tucker is usually buzzing with energy and can never even take a minute to breathe! However, this Sunday we both I think encompassed by feeling of sleepiness and tiredness as we cuddled in front of the couch watching Friends together.

    Rule Of Thirds – Motion

This is some of my friends doing a handstand contest, and I was able to catch the motion of them going into the handstand. You can see that they weren’t completely in sync, as the girl on the right has her legs together and forms a straight line, and the one on the left still hasn’t had her feet meet at the top yet. Both girls show lines which is interesting to look at, as well, the grass at the bottom of the image seems to have lines going towards the girls, I believe it was freshly cut. The motion of the girl on the right’s legs coming together is…

    Self-Portrait

This image represents me for many reasons. I took this photo trying to portray the importance of simplicity, as that is something important to me. I chose a neutral color, white as the focus of this image. Something that really caught my eye was how I was able to capture the sun through the trees, and you can obviously tell where that is as it is very bright. This sun in the back represents me as I always try and see the best, or the “light” of any situation. As well, I chose to blur the background of my photo, only having the main flower focused in the front, as…
