I decided to use this as my faceless self portrait mainly because it shows my culture and who I am. I am Asian, and both the background and the actual object covering my face are very iconic parts of Asian culture. Rice is also one of my favorite foods that I eat practically every day. Additionally, I love fashion, and you can see that I have a white dress shirt on. I decided not to wear anything too flashy, as I feel like it would take away from the actual focus point of the photo. I feel like the white dress shirt fits in perfectly, and still looks nicer than something like a normal T-shirt.
