Outside of our unit work, we created visual productions using applications like Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. These include flyers, brochures, photos, and a much larger variety. I decided to create a one page flyer for my part time job using Adobe InDesign. It is shown below.
My inspiration for this poster came from my job as a barista at Boba guys. I truly love working here, making all kinds of drinks and interacting with both guests and coworkers. This poster was made because of our upcoming grand opening, which would allow us to finally be open full hours. Previously, we were on a soft opening, and were only open four days a week. This has been an event many have been really looking forward to for months because it’s such a huge milestone, as said in the poster. The elements of the design I’m most proud of are the contrast between the classic black and white, which are the only colors in the Boba Guys logo and are also one of my go-to combinations of color. I do like the little bit of color from the picture of the drinks; a full black and white poster would be a little too bland. Pictures of what the production process looks like are shown below.
