This weeks theme was “New Year Light” – we were tasked with taking photos using long exposure. In other words, very low shutter speed, in which I chose the lowest possible value. It was a little confusing at first; I thought my camera turned off but it was in fact taking a 15 second long photo. I also thought that the cars moving would ruin the photo, but it actually ended up making a cool effect where the lines run through the photo.
