Wrath
Despite being very overplayed, the seven deadly sins are still sort of an interesting prompt I chose to explore one of the lesser covered ones, and the one of which I think I’m most guilty: wrath. It is difficult to visually communicate anything as ambiguous and general as wrath, but I think I found a good way to do so.
Oftentimes, intense anger can feel like jolts of electricity shooting from within you, shaking your whole body and filling you with intense energy. To portray the idea of lightning, I utilized the long exposure trick from the new years challenge, this time aiming my flashlight in unruly directions to paint a burst of electricity. I think the effect looks good, but it’s not as visually striking as my new years photo because the lighting is less dynamic and intense.
