The Elements

Fire is an element I resonate with, so I chose to take this photo over other elements. For me, fire represents passion and drive, but also comfort and coziness. All of these things are a part of my values. For the image itself, I really wanted to focus on just the fire, but also highlight what it can do. The image represents the coziness of roasting marshmallows, but also the ability fire has to burn.

Gratitude

For this prompt, I took a photo of my dog. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, especially this puppy right here. He’s been with me through so many ups and downs and my life wouldn’t be the same without him.

Who Inspires You

This might seem weird, but a person who really inspires me is actually my little brother. He is always so forgiving and resilient, and I am always in awe of his willingness to just keep going. Of course, he has highs and lows, but when he falls, he’s back on his feet in a flash. He surprises me every day and I want to be as fearless as he is about being myself.

Reflection Image

For the reflection image prompt, I decided to take a photo of my friend’s yard. She has this gorgeous little pond that always looks so appealing to me. For this image, I tried to focus on the reflection while also highlighting the stairs. I love how the placement makes the stairs disappear into the center of the image. For me, this image represents two different worlds, one above the water, and the unknown one beneath, and the reflections between them.
