This weeks prompt was an interesting one since I was tasked to create 2 more photos using the original photo. In order to achieve true facial symmetry, I used photoshop to flip the 2 parts of my face separate from each-other to create different versions of my face. I adjusted the reflections to match the positioning of the original photo. Then, I used masks to blend the reflection and the original photo to appear more natural and seamless.

The finalized photos of the symmetrical faces remind me of the “Uncanny Valley”. From just a glance, they may look normal. However, if you look closer, you can tell that something isn’t right. I think that I did a good job making the reflected faces look realistic.
