When I visited Santa Barbara over break, I went over to UCSB which is the school my brother attends. When I was there, I looked at the different architectural designs on campus. The one that caught my eye was this red building. Although it doesn’t seem like anything special, the bold red color stood out compared to the muted colored buildings around it. This picture contains lots of geometrical shapes. We can see the the square shapes from the window of the building as well as the door. The blobs of dark paint also show geometrical shapes as it contrasts from the more muted red color of the building. There are lots of geometrical shapes you can find in architecture.

To edit this photo, I added an overlay layer to make the colors of the photo more contrasting. Because the camera didn’t capture the brightness of the red building, I also slightly increased the saturation of the photo as well.
