By exploring various narrative points of view and experimenting with dialogue in our story writing, we have had the chance to develop more advanced storytelling techniques and ideas that we can apply in everyday life We have had to opportunity to use these skills to create screenplays, films, trailers, stories, and websites (As you can tell). During this unit, we used photography to explore dreamlike narratives in a unit on Surrealism. We used language and common narrative techniques to world-build in English. And we used the years of film knowledge to create a full-effect narrative film. Some of the media applications we got to use were studio strobe photography, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Avid Pro Tools, Propellerhead Reason, Dragonframe, Autodesk Maya, HTML/CSS/jQuery, and Google Apps.
