Photo blog #52: Self-Portrait

milo rathbun – story telling

In this photoblog, I was tasked with taking a self portrait in a creative pose that shows how others see me. I took this while driving in the Santa Barbara hills with my friend Zachary. We found an old water tower and I hoped on it. I used him as my “tripod” and had him take various attempts of me jumping off the tower. The coast was foggy and the sky was cloudy so there was almost this continuation of white masking off whatever was behind the mountain. As far as my pose I’m in midair I’m jumping and in action. I feel like a lot of people see me as an active person whose always up to do things and put himself out there.
