The Narrative Project really stood out to me throughout my classes. It forced me to combine not only the skills throughout learning the technical aspects of different software but also implementing the themes we wanted to portray. Learning how to use graphic design programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop with video/audio sequencing programs such as Premiere Pro allowed me to create a more comprehensive and fluid product. Tackling larger and more realistic themes made me want to be more thoughtful about the stories we were telling. I learned that good digital story telling not only comes from understanding how to use the software, but learning how to use visuals and audio to impact how the viewer feels as you tell your story.
