I took this photograph of my friend in their prom dress to represent the deadly sin of envy. During graduation, a lot of my friends and classmates posted prom photos to their social medias. Everyone looks very nice, as they’re dressed to the nines and putting a lot of thought into their posing and backgrounds. However, seeing only these very positive lenses of people can make others envious or cause them to feel like the people around them are effortlessly flawless while they cannot compare.
