This week, we were meant to take a picture in black and white that would use such values to enhance its subject. I took this picture of my cat in front of a black cabinet, and I really enjoy the way he blends in on the right and stands out on the left. I also attempted to incorporate the rule of thirds into this photo, with the cabinet taking up 2/3 of the background and therefore drawing your eyes from the right to left.
