Film Noir

saanikaa, February 11, 2024February 27, 2024
Aperture 10, ISO 800, Shutter Speed 1/2

This is a picture of my piano I took at night. I wanted to show the story of an abandoned piano, since the piano has barely been used in the past 8 years or so. I used my phone flashlight as a light source and chose settings that made the background black. I tried using the rule of thirds to make the photo more interesting and place the focal point in the top right. I think this photo is kind of boring, but I couldn’t find props or settings that worked with the film noir theme, so I had to work with what I had on hand.
