For this, I started by picking a rose. I originally wanted to photograph the rose with a reflection in water, but I couldn’t find any water that was reflective enough in the given lighting conditions. So, I used a small mirror that I have that is specifically curved so that the reflection is “zoomed in”. I used this side of the mirror because I wanted the reflection to be a little warped. I then brought it into Photoshop so that I could add more blues into the picture, so that it wasn’t only peach and grey. I thought that would add more visual interest.
