Photoblog #13 ~ New Beginnings
In my free time, I like to drive around and find new places. I was able to find this beautiful pasture in the hills where horses are able to freely roam. I was inspired by this a took a picture of a white horse grazing by themselves. This picture represents new beginnings because I have reached a new chapter in my life with getting my license and I am able to have more freedoms.
Photoblog#12~ Trash
When looking for a Christmas tree this year, I found this elf hat in the middle of the hills. I wanted to use this photo as my photo for trash because even though it might have been seen as a joyous object in years before, now it is abandoned and seemingly trash.
Photoblog#11~ Balance
This photo’s theme was a challenge to me. I had to push myself to find something that was accidentally renaissance. When my friend and I were hanging out with her dogs, and it reminded me a bit of a renaissance painting. I made it a bit off centered to emphasis the feeling of tension and drama.
Photoblog#10~ Hometown
After growing up in this town, I never really took the time to stop and appreciate it. I chose this photo to help show and represent the beauty of Los Altos. I purposely centered the street to make the photo look balance and keep a feeling of peace and calming.
Photoblog#9~White Balance
For this photo I played with the white balance to make the photo feel warmer. I wanted to bring out the red and orange warm tones of the photo.
Photoblog#8~ Leading lines
This photo represents warmth, comfort, and home. I took a picture of a room with the door lightly open from a dark room. The leading line in this photo is the sliver of light escaping through the door. The blackness around it gives a sense of uncomfort and uncertainty.
Photoblog #7~Love Story
For this photo, I wanted to represent an unusual love story between two house hold items, the fork and the Spoon. Even though they are very different utensils they are always seen and referred to together.
Photo Blog #6-Weight or Mass
In this photo, there is a hail storm at a pool. The light blue tones of the blue contrasts with the dark storm that is going on around it. This weight from the pool causes your eye to look towards the pool.
Photo Blog #5-Symmetry Landscape
In this photo, There is a fast mountain range. I took this photo to represent symmetry as well as my love of nature and camping. The symmetry in this photo creates a sense of calmness and balance.
Photo Blog #4-Warmth
For this photo, I took a picture of my friends and I playing cards. This expresses warmth in multiple ways. The picture has warm pink/red tones to it. There is also the warmth of hanging out with friends and enjoying that time spent together.
