This is a digital painting that I did of my best friend in the French town where my family lives. There are huge hills of lavender everywhere. I used a photo that I have of her in a vintage dress because I thought that it would best represent her style.

In Design class, we created PSA posters to represent a social issue that we care about. I used Adobe Illustrator to draw these cartoons. To show that these people are transgender, I wanted to show the two people with their younger selves.

The Fellowship of the Ring is my favorite book so I wanted to redesign the cover. To create this cover, I worked with one of my old teachers who is a huge Lord of the Rings fan to brainstorm ideas and this is what I made. I wanted to make it look like there were reflections in the ring to show some of the most pivotal moments.

This is a direct observation drawing that I did at a coffee shop near me. I really liked the way the tree casted shadows on the gallery so I sat there for hours and drew it in my sketchbook.

In Design class, we created collages in Adobe Photoshop to represent our summers. I spent my summer volunteering at CSMA(Community School of Music and Art). One week I was there was space week and one of the projects that we did was a star jar. I had also just crocheted a jellyfish so I put some jellyfish in the background.

In Design class, we wanted to create something similar to aboriginal art to represent ourselves. One of my favorite animals is the whale shark and I am a scorpio so I put the symbols on the heads of the whale sharks.

This is a digital drawing that I did based off of a photo that I found of me as a kid. This was a lot of fun because I really like shading skin. One of the reasons that I chose this photo was because it gave me a chance to practice drawing mouths and teeth. This is something that I always struggle with, especially at different angles like this one so I am glad that I got out of my comfort zone to do this.
