This prompt had a heavier set of criteria : the photograph had to be of a landscape, with negative space as a focus. That means it had to be a photo of a natural, relatively wide setting, and it had to have contrast between “positive space” (the subject) and “negative space” (the background, empty space, and/or things surrounding the main subject). The white lamp, stones, light colored bamboo railing and pale ground count as the “positive space” while the thick greenery is the “negative space”. The subject takes up only a third of the photograph, making the area seem secret but also serene, in contrast to its chaotic and dense surroundings. Probably the more relevant type of photograph would be that of a silhouette of a hill or trees against an empty sky, but I wanted to make something more interesting.
