For this week, we were challenged to tell the story of a stranger with a photograph. Since I rarely take pictures of people, this was a bit of a challenge for me to pick good compositions and subjects. The pictures above is my favorite one, I really like that I managed to isolate the subject in this interesting landscape, and I like how the red stands out against the green part. The child looks so focused on, and it makes me want to know what they’re thinking about: maybe candy, or trains, or the great big trees seemingly almost out of its reach?

I also took a few other photographs for this prompt:

I wonder what this couple is waiting for with the bright red bouquet. The photograph feels like something out of a movie, so I added a filter to add a vintage feel to it.

I like how the bright oranges and the orange jacket are highlighted in this picture against the more monochromatic greys, whites, and blacks. This kid looks really bored, but is keeping it all in and instead just waits with a dissatisfied expression and his hands tightly clasped together.
