I like this picture because it shows what my friend, Miguel, is experiencing from another person’s perspective.
photo blog #43: Film Noir
While in Tahoe over February break, I decided to take out my camera and take a photo of the snowy wonderland looking terrain.
Photo Blog #42: Work
Working hard or hardly working?
Photo Blog #41: Color Theory
Flying through space at a quarter of the speed of light, Lemi and Choi were exhilarated. Although the mind boggling speeds in which they were traveling were certainly a sound cause for excitement, they had just pulled off the greatest escape their solar system had ever seen. Sneaking far enough past their alien invaders, they had managed to commandeer a Sinep 96 before taking off from their home planet, Yagim. “YES!”, yelled Choi. “I knew we could do it”. Photo Blog #40: New Year Light
My friends and I made a trip to San Francisco two days ago. We were walking around a viewpoint overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, and I thought the lights of the city and on the bridge would make a perfect long exposure photo.
Photo Blog #38: Rule of Odds
Even though this picture ended up developing terribly, it is also one of my favorites. To me, the image feels almost like an almost forgotten memory, one that anyone can claim as their own. No faces, no locations, just three kids jumping in a tunnel.
Photo Blog #37: Seasons
I was out filming a video for my college applications at around 4pm yesterday when I noticed that it was golden hour. I paused my filming and took some pictures of the flowers nearby. I love that even though it’s Fall, these flowers have just started to bloom.
Photo Blog #39: The elements
I took this image at the Aquarium of the Bay. This glass tunnel enveloped in water is super cool, especially given the theme of this weeks photo blog. It’s cool to me that we as a species have been able to conquer the element of water and make it our own.
Photo Blog #36: Gratitude
I am incredibly grateful for all my friends who support and love me. This is a picture from my friend Nate’s 18th birthday party that I hosted at my house.
Photo Blog #35: Rule of thirds emotion
I like this photo a lot because Emma (left) and Genie (right) both have their own rule of thirds set up. This makes it feel like there’s a lot going on in the picture, while still having a satisfying composition.
