Welcome to my showcase page! My name is Tai and I am a student at Freestyle Academy. As you probably already know, at Freestyle we take three classes: English, Digital Media, and a third elective of choice; I do Film. After high school I plan on taking a gap year in Israel to work an internship, then to earn a B.S in Urban Technology at the University of Michigan.
Because the creation of both these videos is a culmination of all my work in Freestyle over the past two years, I can’t really say that I grew too much from putting them together. But that’s not to say that I felt indifferent about it either. Through the process of building the showcase video and my reel, it really put a tangible value on my time here at Freestyle. Coming in as a junior it’s hard to grasp just how amazing this program is. Having been here for almost two years now, I am both very grateful for the opportunities that were given to me, and also sad that in the next two weeks I will ultimately have to say goodbye.
