This picture was taken on an old film camera and I really enjoyed the vintage effect the grain gives.
Photo Blog #13: New Beginnings
Nothing screams new beginnings like a ride off into the sunset. I took this picture when my family and my friend Milo’s family went on a trip to Hawaii. We were exploring the coast on a boat with one of Richards (the man left frame) friends who lives on the north-shore, and I thought that the light and view were really nice.
Photo Blog #9: White Balance
I liked this photo because of the very luminescent color range it has. I did not change the colors on this at all, so I thought it was exceptionally cool that it turned out this way (even with flash on).
Photo Blog #8: Leading Lines
I took this picture because I thought that all the horizontal lines of the wall and sidewalk leading to the one vertical line of the light post looked cool together. I also liked milo hanging off of it.
Photo Blog #7: Love Story
I decided to use this picture because I think friendship love is the same as any other type, and this picture definitely shows that.
Photo Blog #6: Weight or Mass
I decided to take a picture of this bracelet because I thought it looked very heavy compared to the wood around it. I also like the texture of the metal itself.
Photo Blog #5: Symmetry Landscape
I took this photo on a recent trip with friends at El Dorado National Forest (near Lake Tahoe). I thought that the trees standing above the waterline were very symmetrical to each other (or as symmetrical as nature can get).
Photo Blog #4: Warmth
I decided to take this photo of the leaf because I liked how the warm reds, oranges, and yellows contrasted with the bleak looking sky.
Photo Blog #3: Mood
I decided to take a picture of my desk for my mood picture. I think this kind of represents my mood because all I want to do right now is relax and get my homework done.
Photo Blog #2: Rule of thirds
Composition – Tai Livnat I decided to go with this picture for my rule of thirds because I think it was an out of the box way to capture something in motion. I really like the table coasters that we have, so I thought it would be cool to show the art on them in this setting.
