I noticed that the wood art in the digital media room had some very interesting and unique geometry, so i decided to take a picture of one of them from a cool angle.
Photo Blog #23: Leading Lines
I took this picture during a family meal I helped cook. I think that the lines of the wood grain leading to the food is a cool effect.
Photo Blog #20: Rule of odds
Me and my friend Milo decided to go out to a view point in Los Altos Hills to take this picture. I wanted the wide angle of the rolling hills, and I thought by adding myself, and the two poles into the picture, it would create a cool rule of odds effect.
Photo Blog #17: Negative Space
I decided to take the prompt for this picture very literally. I took this photo on a trip to the 9/11 memorial in New York City, and I think it is the literal embodiment of a negative space, both because of the tragic events that occurred there, and because of the way the memorial is set up.
Photo Blog #14: Center Frame Portrait
This picture was taken on an old film camera and I really enjoyed the vintage effect the grain gives.
Photo Blog #8: Leading Lines
I took this picture because I thought that all the horizontal lines of the wall and sidewalk leading to the one vertical line of the light post looked cool together. I also liked milo hanging off of it.
Photo Blog #5: Symmetry Landscape
I took this photo on a recent trip with friends at El Dorado National Forest (near Lake Tahoe). I thought that the trees standing above the waterline were very symmetrical to each other (or as symmetrical as nature can get).
Photo Blog #2: Rule of thirds
Composition – Tai Livnat I decided to go with this picture for my rule of thirds because I think it was an out of the box way to capture something in motion. I really like the table coasters that we have, so I thought it would be cool to show the art on them in this setting.
