The goal of this photo challenge was to convey weight and mass in a photo. I decided to take a picture of a car tire against the ground. Usually, when looking at a car tire you’d expect it to be perfectly round, but in reality, the part of that is on the ground is flat because of the weight of the car, and the tire bulges out like a balloon. What interested me most was that while the car is incredibly heavy, the only thing keeping it on the tires is the air inside of tires, not usually associated with being strong.
