For this photo blog, I took a image of the cadenza of Rachmaninoff’s piano concerto No.1 A cadenza in music is a section where the soloist isn’t supported by the orchestra, and must play alone. I decided to make the photo slightly tilted in order to capture the virtuosity and complexity of this cadenza.
