For this photo blog, I decided to try a new take on shioulettes. I wanted to portray pain and sorrow, so I put some pencils stabbing the maneqin, with his shioulette in the background, still intact. This symbolizes the maneqin’s will to live. For this photo, I experimented with different angles to find a dramatic position for the maneqin and the viewer’s eye.
