Video Productions

In Animation, we created a short lip-sync animation with whatever audio file we wanted. Using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects, I composed an animation to the song Buttercup by Jack Stauber (but a vocaloid cover so there isn’t any copyright!), having to design separate illustrations for every mouth shape, the character, and background. Everything was drawn in Photoshop, while virtually all of the animation was done through keyframing in After Effects so I could best match the visuals to the audio.

Character illustration in Photoshop. Each layer has a different element: eyebrows, eyes, head, hair, body, mouth shapes, etc.
Background piece inspired by some Disney scenes! I wanted to draw a peaceful, cold forest that would contrast with the warm tones of the fawn boy. I ended up tying their colors together through flashing pink lighting.
