Introduction
The Conceptual Unit emphasizes creative risk-taking through art, poetry, web production, and other digital media, and challenges students to express themselves in their own style. Students develop these skills with professional equipment such as:

Poetry in a Photo
During this project, students are challenged to write a poem and create an edited audio recording of it in Avid Pro Tools. After students write and record their poem, they select an image and edit it to fit the mood and concept of their poem. Here is mine!

Photo Haiku
During this project, students are challenged to write a haiku and create an edited video in Adobe Premiere Pro. After students write and record their haiku, they select a photo they took and edit the haiku into a video including music and visual transitions. Here is mine!
