Gift

People like to say that my friend Nathan has a “natural gift” for piano, and that he was born with talent, but I disagree. I often see Nathan practicing, whether in Packard Hall or when he visits my house. He works hard for his talent, and it’s a “gift” to my ears whenever he plays.
