At first I struggled with this prompt, I wasn’t sure how to create a strong image with negative space when the Bay Area is often cluttered with houses and buildings. But by adjusting my camera settings, I found a way to use the silhouette of some trees to emphasize the contrast between the horizon and the evening sky. I’m happy with the simplicity of the final photo.
