Tell A Lie

Posted on April 23, 2020April 23, 2020 by x

My maternal grandmother collected a lot of cat figures and decorations, like this door stopper that sits at the top of our staircase. The trouble with this one is, it looks eerily similar to our cat, who likes to spend her time sitting at the top of the staircase in a similar position. Whenever I’m coming up the stairs as the last one in our family to go to bed, I often mistake the door stopper for the cat and it always takes me a second to realize that, nope, that’s not a living being, just a painted piece of metal.
