My mom found these old license plates at the top of a box in our garage. She moved around a lot when she was my age, getting her driver’s license in Georgia, then moving and getting a new car in Virginia. It was a super cool find, and I put them up on my wall in my room. As the next stage of my life gets closer and closer (I’m testing to get my driver’s license in a couple of months, and applying to college around the same time), I like to take a second and remember that my mom went through the same things. It’s a cool concept to me that I’m going through life and growing up, just like they did. They were once in the same situation that I was, and that’s just neat.
