Color without Color?

Meet Steve, the friendly Raspberry
The OG Picture

When I first read the prompt, I wondered if that was even possible. But as I thought more about it and looked at some black and white pictures for inspiration, I realized that even when pictures are in black and white we can tell how colorful the scene is in real life based on the variety and brightness of the grays. When my grandma came to town, she brought a box full of delicious fresh raspberries from her garden. I couldn’t get over how beautiful and bright the color was, so I decided to photograph it. I also harnessed my inner child and did what I loved to do when I was little- I stuck it on my finger because I associate color with childhood.
