The rule of odds. Our eyes and minds are drawn to things that aren’t perfectly even. That are perfectly imperfectly even. Even though we like symmetry, things also look better in odds. This week we were challenged to take a photo that encompassed this idea in architecture. Even though this isn’t a building, I felt like the seven pointed-star worked well. I decided to take the rule further by including three (an odd number) of photos into a fun collage I made.
