Reality
This week we were challenged to “tell a lie” through photography. I decided to use the idea that even though we all know media shows a limited perspective of something or someone, sometimes it feels like the whole picture. I used this fresh homemade bread as an example. Zoomed in, the bread looks great and my life looks put together. However, when you zoom out, the kitchen is a complete mess, there are dishes to be done, and the bread is at a not-so-flattering angle. I think it is an important reminder that even though everyone is doing their best, we can’t see everything that’s in the picture.
